No robotic textbooks. No hiding behind English. No overthinking every word. Just real Spanish. Real confidence. Real connection.
Forget the green bird teaching you phrases you’ll never use. Forget endlessly collecting Spanish but freezing the second someone actually speaks to you.
We do Spanish differently here. Together, out loud, a bit messy, a bit chaotic.. but real. The kind of Spanish you actually use in cafés, markets, taxis, and in conversations that don’t go to plan.
I help you go from overthinking every word to just… speaking.
Handling real-life situations, connecting with people, and finally feeling like yourself in another language. Because Spanish isn’t something to collect, it’s something to use.

WHAT I DO
Yeah, I’m a teacher… but not like you’re thinking. Think more Spanish bestie, hyping you up when you sound great, catching the moments where you’ve accidentally said something wildly different, and encouraging the messy bits (because that’s where it actually sticks!)
We don’t do overcomplicated grammar or endless vocab lists. We use my FUEGO framework to get you speaking in real conversations from the start - the kind you’ll actually have in real life.
It should feel like a catch-up with friends, not a lesson. Relaxed, fun, and a little bit chaotic… but by the end of it, you’re speaking Spanish and wondering why you ever thought you 'couldn't do languages'.â
â
REAL CONVERSATIONS ONLY
You’re not here to memorise words, you’re here to use them. From the start, we build everything around speaking in real-life situations, so you stop freezing and start responding naturally. Because that’s what actually matters when you’re abroad.. nope, not perfect grammar, but being able to handle whatever comes up in the moment.â
â
MESSY = PROGRESS
We don’t wait until it’s perfect, we speak now (I'll hold your hand, I promise). The mistakes, the wrong words, the “wait what did I just say?” moments… that’s where the learning actually happens. This takes the pressure off and builds real confidence, because you realise you don’t always need to get it right to get it across.
â
IT'S PART OF YOUR LIFE
âYou don’t need hours of study. You need consistency that fits your life. Through simple habits (like 12 second voice notes), Spanish becomes something you use little and often, not something you “try to find time for.” Watch how quickly it starts to feel natural, and like something you can actually do.
IF THESE FEEL LIKE YOU
“I know what I want to say, I just can’t get it out fast enough”
“Why do they speak SO fast?? I catch a few words and then I’m completely lost”
“I don’t want to be that typical Brit just speaking English everywhere”
“I feel a bit stupid when I try to speak… so I just don’t bother”
“I always think of what I should’ve said after the conversation’s over”
THEN IT'S TIME WE HAD A CHAT, MY FRIEND

How I got here
From overthinking every word to my sassiest self in Spanish
I'd followed all the rules, got the good grades, and felt like I was practically fluent. Until I landed in Madrid and realised that Alejandro was speaking way too fast, Natalia was using the future tense completely wrong, and what was Manu even saying? (wtf does 'me cago en la leche' even mean?!)
Yes, I'd learned 'perfect' Spanish, but that wasn't how people spoke. My years of textbook Spanish barely served me, and I had to get good at 'real talk', real quick. I had to stop rehearsing what I was going to say in my head, because by the time I'd worked out Manu was being *very* rude, Alejandro had reeled off 14 paragraphs, of which I'd heard 3 words.
So I burned the textbooks (literally), got out of my head and put listening and speaking first - and now I help other adults do the same. Not perfectly, but confidently. We build real-life conversations, spoken like a real-life human.
